Abstract

The implementation of the K-12 program of the government brought about a lot of changes in the Education sector in our country. This school year 2016 -2017, senior high school (SHS) Grade 11 has been fully implemented. In response to this educational reform, Baliuag University opened the Grade 11 of the Senior High School department for SY 2016-2017 to accommodate incoming senior high school students. As one of the leading educational institutions in Region 3, Baliuag University was able to face the challenges brought about by this new program. As a market leader in Baliwag, BU is one of the top schools in terms of the Grade 11 student enrollment in Bulacan. This coming school year 2017-2018, the BU Senior High School Department continues to face challenges, particularly on the over-all revenue of the university since there were no college freshmen and sophomore students to give way for the K to 12 transition. The present strategy, Focus Differentiation, has been effective in achieving the target student enrollment, while the results of Internal – External Matrix Analysis revealed an average score that suggests that the university should utilize a hold-and-maintain strategy to achieve the desired objectives. Financial projections are also discussed and insinuate a positive cash flow for the Senior High School business segment of the university.
